Based on the Lunar Calender, we are currently in the 'Year of the Pig.'  Only it's seems to be more than that.  According to some Fortunetellers, this is the year of 'The Golden Pig.'  An event that happens only every 600 years, and children that are born in this year, are believed to have good fortune and will lead a comfortable and wealthy life.

Now, not every fortuneteller and folklorists believe this and are not certain where the myth came from, but people all over the world have been planning their childs birth in this Lunar Year. 

Regardless of the Golden, or not so Golden Pig....there have been many people with good fortune who were born in the year of the pig; when the energy of bright light and clear water are harmoniously joined together.
