This Week's Movies in Review
Some movies require long in depth reviews....these do not. They were all three Romantic, chick flick, comedies.
Catch & Release - This was a nice movie. The beginning made me teary eyed, the middle was fun, and the ending was predictable. It's a movie asking you you if you really know the people closet to you...it's a movie about loss, acceptance, and moving forward with your life....for each of the characters involved. All together I liked it.
Music & Lyrics - This movie was cute...in typical Drew Barrymore style, light hearted, quarky and fun. She of course is the quarky messed up plant water-er for Hugh Grant's has-been, rock star character. He needs a song by friday and of course she was a brillant writer in college....of course by the time it was done, I was certain I could be a Lyrisist. This was a no brainer, fun, relaxing Romantic Comedy. I say Rent it!
Because I Said so - I liked this movie....I like Diane Keaton very much...but she was a bit much in this movie. Are there mothers out there that do these things?!...my god, they should all be strung up. The movie was cute though. It made me laugh, and it made me tear up at times. I liked this one too.
Altogether a good movie weekend for the gURLZ!
Coming this weekend: The Fountain, The Painted Veil and The Good Shepherd.
