This week's Movies in Review

Ok.  We watched one.  The other we got 5 minutes into and decided it wasn't for us, and the third, we just never even popped into the machine.

The Good Shepperd - One word sums it up...bbboooorrrriiiinnnngggg......well, a second word too; LONG.  I love CIA, sneaky goverment things... but this movie was so freakin' long and boring and pointless.  There were whole sections that could have been left out to make it only an hour and a half and then maybe it would have been interested....but nooo... 2 hours & 48 minutes of snoor.  Skip it!

The Fountain - Sci-Fi....I knew that going in, but I thought it would be modern with a time travle twist.  This starts with Hugh Jackman fighting, single handidly I might add, the Mayan people in mid-evil gear, than he gets stabs and finds himself, bald and in a bubble floating through space...with a tree.  After five minutes of him and the tree...it came out and we watched SNL...which still sucks by the way.

The Painted Veil - We saw this preview when we put in the Fountain....decided we were not in the mood for that kind of movie, and just skipped it.

I wonder if Thelma won't visit my On Line Fourm and give us her review of The Fountain and Painted Veil...maybe they were good....maybe sci-fi lovers will like that movie...who knows.

I hope to see Night at the Museum on PPV maybe...something to salvage the long weekend.
