A Jolly Good Super Bowl
OK...I read an article on AOL today that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is considering holding the SUPERBOWL in England!! OUR SUPERBOWL!! What are they thinking?
So where do I start with this rant?
First of all, England already has a sport they call Football.....it's retarded, sissy Soccer. So chances are, those drunkin' bastards won't even know what the hell they are going to when they buy their tickets let alone have the ability to appreciate it!
And what about the fact that Football is ours....it's American. I know Baseball is called America's past time, but there are just as many Americans that are football fans! Maybe even more...I mean does baseball pack 16 stadiums every single weekend of 50,000 plus people for five months straight? America is Football, and Americans made Football what it is today and thats NOT soccer and any sports loving American should feel the same way......

The NFL is ours....American. Of course I do realize that we have an NFL Europe league...and what ever...it's not like anyone watches it anyways. If they want a big championship game over there in Europe, then let the NFL Europe teams play in a SuperBowl type game....don't send our most Favorite and exploited Sunday of the year to another country.....Don't fatigue our players with Jet Lag, and stick your middle finger up at the loyal fans that hang tough with their team all year round just to make the "sport more popular"...you greedy little cheese holes....
What happened to Tagliabue? I knew when he stepped down that things would go to shit, and I knew I should have applied for the job. If someone would have suggested the Superbowl in England to me, I would have fired them on the spot and then I would have had them deported! What's wrong with you Goodell? Are you the Dick Cheney of Football? Do you own a brewing company or something in England and figure you can make some extra bank over there while you screw the American people? It's the National Football League...NOT INTERNATIONAL you Benedict Arnold Bastard!!
Let those freakin' red coats play their little David Beckham type "Football" and leave the real hard hitting, truly aggressive sport to the Americans....we're the only ones that truly understand that kind of coordinated aggression anyway.
Why is it that we are so money hungry...or is it just that we want to push one more cultural thing on the rest of the world?....I mean why must we cram everything that we think is great down their throats....McDonalds, Blue Jeans, Democracy?! If they want it, let them get it themselves and do it their own way. But until then, leave our own traditions and values at home in the US of A where it belongs.
