This Weeks Movies In Review
So this weeks movies are...Reign Over Me and Bobby Z.
Reign Over Me - This was a movie. Excellent cast, and terrific performances by all. Adam Sandler moved out of his normal roll and left all his merry sidekicks behind to make this movie. He was sensational. He and Don Cheadle were great together. They had many light hearted dramedy moments, but when things got intense...they really got intense. I cried when he finally told his story, but it got even worse in the court room. I was so wrapped up in the what the lawyer was doing with the pictures that I was physically upset by his actions....now that is great movie making. I say if you like tear jerkers, or you're looking for some laughs and then a really great cry....Rent it!
Bobby Z - This movie was alright. Action/drama. If you like hard to believe shoot em up, drug trafficking, dirty cop movies, then this one is for you! It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Hard to believe fight scenes, and you never know who was screwing who...and I still don't know who Olivia was.....but we enjoyed it enough to give it three stars.
We also had Lucky You...but we weren't interested in it, so we just sent it back...it was 2 hours and 40 minutes long.....please....
