What Kind of Cat
What kind of cat doesn't like milk?
When we found our stray cat in July of 2004, she had wandered up to my mother in law's back porch where we fed her cheese until we could get kitty supplies. Since that day, she has lived here with us. She eats her store bought cat food and uses her convenient litter box down stairs...but never asks for anything more. The most she is spoiled is her fluffy red pillow on the cedar chest at the foot of our bed. Other then that she is rarely seen or heard from. For anniversary party's with us she takes no treats and barely plays with her gifts...Steve the Pirate remains her one and only toy that she will acknowledge.
Every week I shop for the family and bring home some sort of treat for our three large dogs...she runs up to great me just as they do and watches in what appears to be disappointment as she gets nothing....she never eats what I get her. But Finally! Finally I found something she likes...she loves the Wiskas cat Treats, and now begs for them incessantly....I have created a kitty monster!
So now she begs in the kitchen with the rest of us for food...so the other day after I sifted through my Lucky Charms and gave most of the cereal to my dogs (I only like the marshmallows, so I thin out the amount of cereal in the bowl leaving very little behind...that's another discussion for another day...) Anyway...I gave my dogs their cereal and the cat sat in beg mode on the breadrack....so after I poured their milk in their bowls, I poured her a small saucer of milk as well....she snubbed it and walked away......WHAT?! What kind of cat doesn't drink milk?!
