This Week's Movies in Review
License To Wed - This was a simple movie. It had it's funny moments, but it was predictable. I have nothing really great to say about it. Rent it or don't. You will laugh, but Robin Williams is not to special in this one, and it's kind of outrageous....and did I say predictable. I guess if there's nothing else available rent it, other wise, wait for it on HBO.
In The Land of Women - This movie was more emotional then I thought it would be. I like Brody quite a bit, and everyone loves Meg Ryan, right? It was witty and clever, but kind of a downer. I would say rent this if you are PMS-ing and need a good cry.
Transformers - This movie was Awesome! I was not expecting that. Honestly when it came out, I threw it in the Netflix que just because it was there...I had no interest. But boy this was fun! It was full of smart ass fun one liners, and was definitely, More then meets the eye....but you have to pay attention to the hidden little jokes to catch them...it also helps to be an 80's kid. It was funny to here them talking about Megatron and Optimis Prime...lol. That cracked me up. But I worried this would be a comic book type movie, or even worse...Sci-fi....but, it was actually more of a War Movie (which I love!) with echoes of National Treasure in it. I really did enjoy this movie....which was good, since it's so freakin' long. I say Rent it!
