OK...so this past weekend we watched a few movies...nothing to brag about.

Balls of Fury - This was as ridiculous as you thought it would be.  All set to DEF LEPPARD though, so I was pumped!  It had some very funny ping pong ball moments, and the soundtrack was the best ever.  I enjoyed it, but its not something I would say run out and rent....you have to be in the right, simple minded, maybe even feeble minded place to truly enjoy it.

The Contract - This movie was pretty good.  no.....maybe it was just OK.  I was a bit irritated that there was NO cell phone signal, but the bad guy could whip out his laptop at any moment and track them and look up anything he needed...probably ordering his Netflix movies...Even after they crashed the Helicopter, he whipped it out!  All together though, it was alright....I like When Morgan Freeman is funny.

Geeze, for the life of me, I can not remember the third movie we received was....must not have been that good....Hang on while I go check Netflix....aahhhh..I got it    

Talk To Me - I thought I would like this movie...I like Don Cheadle.  It was long...and  pretty boring.  It did do one thing for me though....it made me feel the devastation this country felt when MLK was assassinated.  In the movie they receive devastating news...I guessed JFK Shooting...but it was King's   I never thought about the entire nation being left breathless by his loss like that before.  Not that it doesn't make sense...just that it never occurred to me.  That part was very moving...and it is a true story, so it was an interesting movie...just not for me.  I say Skip it.

So not that great of a weekend, but we did watch the classics...Xmas Vacation...the best!  OH and Santa Clause 3.  I have already seen that, but it was cute to watch again.

OH..almost forgot!  We also rented from PPV.

Pirates of the Caribbean - This movie was good.  I find them all hard to follow though.  You really have to know your characters names well to keep up...across all three movies that is.  I also have trouble understanding the sea witch lady.  But it was funny.  Depp is great as a wack job pirate...very amusing.  I also liked how Keith Richards makes a comment about how living forever isn't everything.  The Monkey is the best, and I love the two funny sidekicks that are part of the crew...even the dog with the keys makes a comeback in this movie.  I say rent it...but pay attention....never leave the room....and pee before it starts, because it's long.....

This week should be good though.... Surfs Up, The Kingdom, and The HeartBreak Kid
