As I lay in bed last night that commercial (it's old, so you may not remember it) ran through my mind.

Here's to you mom.
The keeper of lost socks.
The packers of lunches.
The person that knows whether or not Fish can hear.

Then it dawned on me....I have no idea!

I'm a mom and I have no idea if fish can hear!

Yes she's small now....just learning how to get up on her knees and a long ways away from this conversation, but what it boils down to is I don't have all the answers...how can I be prepared if I have no answers to the simple questions?

I know that you're not supposed to tap on the glass...I already tell her that.  But do they feel vibrations like a dolphin (or is that sharks?...not the point) Or do they hear the noise magnified my ten...I mean why not tap on the glass?  What is going to happen when you do? 

I have no idea, but I'm sure this will come up, I can tell by the way she studies our fish everyday....she's full of good questions....but, can I field them all?

I think I have some research to do, before this kid starts talking....I'll have to watch more Smarter then a Fifth Grader I guess.....
