The Wendell Baker Story - This movie wasn't bad...I say that with a great deal of surprise.  I thought for sure that we were in for another "Bottle Rockets" type catastrophe, but I was wrong.  This movie; written, produced, directed ... oh and starring Luke Wilson...I thought for sure it would follow in the footsteps of every thing his brother Owen, and Wes Anderson have produced together...you know, those quirky odd films that few people get.  Now don't get me wrong..I totally enjoy them...I'm one of the few quirky ones I guess.  But this movie was light and fun.  We spent the first ten minutes pointing out how many times they showed the El Camino with or without Jr the dog in the back end.....slight error there...unless they meant to do that...you never know.  It was a cute story about rehabilitation or the heart as well as the soul.  I liked it.  I would not say run out and rent it...but if it's on HBO...Watch it...You'll enjoy it.
