You.S.A.


That's what I would call my American project and my website if I could ever see it through to fruition.

This is just a plan...just a suggestion of sorts.... an idea.....a dream....

            A concept that involves us all as a nation.  We are a brilliant and diverse group of people that I am positive are loaded with good, useable ideas for our own repair.  This will involve all of you...everyone...from sea to Shining sea....



A country For the People, BY THE PEOPLE.

That was the important part....correct?  By the people. 

                                             (thanks Ben and Tom...that's good solid groundwork for us to build from)


But somehow we have gotten as far away from that notion of country as we could possibly journey.  



                        This is how I plan to take it back.



We launch a website.  A website that acts as the central meeting hub where we, as a people, will come up with the answers that seem to some how elude our illustrious leaders.

It's really a very simple concept that will get more and more complicated as it grows...like any good lake effect snowball rolling down our mountainous terrain.

1.  First we will establish this country's biggest issues that WE the People, need to fix.  Health care, Economy, Environment, Fuel Prices, Immigration, Education, Gun Control etc. 


2.  Then we will break it down in to committees to head up each headlining project. 


3.  The next step is the big one...RESEARCH!  We The People, will go out and talk to the people!!  

                                                   Wow what an original concept right?


Take Gun Control....who should we be talking to?  The NRA....surely you jest?  No!  We go after the people that are buying, selling and most of all using, the guns!  We talk to store owners, hunters, criminals...we don't want their arms dealers name, we just want to know what they think slipped through the cracks making it simple for them to buy an automatic weapon for a hundred and fifty bucks on the street and gun down that child....I mean if they are truly reformed, then why wouldn't they pass on their knowledge so that doesn't happen to the next kid...right?

We talk to the actual resources...we ask them their opinions, ideas, and thoughts.  We gather the information from the masses by going to them...visiting their stores, in jail, in their homes etc....we solicit them on line with Open Forums so that every red blooded American can weigh in.



Then we meet back here on the World Wide Web and we start collecting all of our research data and findings.  We sift through it for what we can use.  Then we proceed with the next step. 


4.  Each committee would have to calculate the cause and effect of their proposed solutions.


Example....if we went to a government funded Health Care system like our neighbors to the north...then what about the jobs that will be eliminated here in the US and world wide...the companies that currently provide the services?  This one I use, because that would mean a loss of my job.  But that's the general idea...researching cause and effect for each proposed solution.



5.  Lastly...and here's where I come in again...I would write the entire thing up in an all inclusive guide on how to fix these United States.



The people would have taken back their own destinys by fixing the country that was set up purposely for them to prosper....rather then sinking further and further into the black hole that America has lately become.


So that's my plan....in a nutshell of course...it's actually much bigger then it sounds, and probably why I will never see it through....


        Oh and it turns out that my website is already taken by USA college...I'll come up with another site name...maybe we can be Dot Org..or how about DOT GOV!!  LOL

There it is...the YouSA Project...my attempt at constructing a complete How to Fix These United States Handbook.
