OK..I learned last night that a person with curly hair has a flat hair sheath, like a ribbon, as opposed to a round one that a person with straight hair would have.  So some how adding the 'like a ribbon' aspect to the description should make me feel better about my flat hair sheath....yet, surprisingly it does not.....
