Atonement - I liked this movie.  It reminded me very much of Titanic.  You had your class struggle between girl and boy.  You had the falsely accused.  The long suffering while they are apart.  And finally the old lady in the end telling you how it all "really" went down.  And how about that McAvoy...he's a cutie, huh?  A lot of the movie leaves you wondering what the hell is happening, but it's one of those that all ties back together if you are patient, and the ending is the biggest surprise of them all.  The only part I completely did not get was when he arrives at the beach in France and they are lining the horses up and shooting them in the head.  That part left me a gasp and I never did understand it.  Apart from that, I really did enjoy this movie. 

The Legend of the Water Horse - This is a Great family movie.  I loved every minute of it.  The animal is fun to watch and the story is gripping from start to finish.  I say gather the children and watch it!

Sweeney Todd - Musical....oh God. Actually it wasn't that bad.  I'm not a musical kinda girl, and this thing was dark...but it was alright to sit through.  If you like this kind of thing, I would say it's a good one.
