Ellie's Productive Weekend!

Ellie has had a great couple of days, so I thought I would share.  Her biggest news being that yesterday she took a record 12 consecutive steps!  She walked from Radio (her radio flyer rocking horse) to me.  She was very proud of herself.

She also began waving on request, and with great enthusiasm I might add.  Ellie has also learned that mommy and daddy throw her a party every time she turns her drum over and places her shaker egg inside of it and then retrieves it!  She also began rolling a ball back and forth with me.

She's trying very hard to say both doggie and kitty cat.  She laughs at them (in real life and in books) and tries to repeat what we are saying.

Thursday she came to the stable with m e and watched mommy ride the really big "Doggie".  She seemed to like the  horses, laughing every time they moved.

Saturday Aunt Jana requested we do some outdoor pictures of Miss Ellie, so we took some in Grandma's garden, and some others by Grandpa's flag pole.....that was my idea and that didn't come out quite the way I thought that it would....turns out, the flag pole is MUCH higher then I anticipated.  The sun was high noon glaring down on her as well so she is squinting in most of the picture.  Sunday we went down to Root Glen at Hamilton College and took some more pictures, but I have not seen them yet....I think there will be more squinting...plus every time we took her fishy away from her she protested with tears and a pushed out lower lip...Jana got some pictures of that too.  I'll share all of those once I get them all.

It just feels like a big milestone growing weekend!  I hope everyone's was equally as rewarding!
