I love Billy Joel....but there's a line in his song, Just The Way You Are, that always bothers me.

He says:

I don't want clever, conversation,
I never want to work that hard,
I just want someone, that I can talk to,
I want you just the way you are.

So basically...isn't he calling her an idiot? 

He doesn't want anyone clever, instead he wants her....kind of insulting isn't it?
