I never got to P.S. I love You....I tried like the dickens though....here's what we did see this weekend.

Over Her Dead Body - This movie while predictable, was funny.  I really didn't have too much hope for anything special...a simpleton movie...but Rudd's character is a Veterinarian and the scene with the over weight Yellow Lab just had me laughing out loud....it's in the back ground so you have to watch, but it was funny....then there was the two minute long fart scene...and how is a fart not funny?  Altogether I enjoyed this movie, and I would say rent it....it's simple and predictable like I said, but it was cute.

American Gangster - Let me sum this up in one word....LLLLoonnnggggg.  One Long ass movie.  But very interesting.  Washington and Crowe of course were good at their job and the fact that it is all based on a true story I think is what kept us compelled to continue watching.  With that said, I'm certain there could have been ways to shorten it a bit.  We kept thinking...this is the end...this is the end...but it just kept going.....I guess somewhat indicative of the Vietnam War that it is built around.  The police officer statistics in the end were astounding...I'm glad someone cleaned it all up.  Rent it....but pee first.
