The Next section of my Memiors I call Brat On The Loose...and it starts like this...

I have many sub-stories to tell about my life on Griffiss.  But there are so many that jump to mind that are not full stories to tell.  Just memories.  There was;

• Kickball out back
• My cute, little, yellow banana seat bike with the basket on the front, streamers on the handle bars, & a personal license plate I got from a box of Frosted Flakes ....this of course was a step up from my perfect little Tricycle
• My little inflatable pool in the back yard.  Sometimes we would put the slide from my swing set in the pool, so we could slide down in.
• Jennifer Johnson slept w/ her eyes open.
• Riding our bikes to the Base Pool.
• Trick or treating in Base Housing....Lots of Candy!
• Family gardens.  Mom always won the Garden of the month award for her flower garden out front.  But that's not what I am referring too.  Everyone was given a chance to have a little plot of land on SAC hill to grow a garden.  We would go up there as a family & we grew vegetables together .
•    The Ice Cream Truck.  We would hear the bell & run for Mom.  She would sport us a few bucks & we were off again chasing down the truck. We would get Rockets & Eskimo Pies & the big foot with bubble gum lodged in the Big Toe (I know it sounds gross now.)
