This weekend as I sped through town for the millionth time, I noticed something I had NEVER seen before.  There were two older woman standing on the town green...reading the sign.  Taking pictures.  Showing an interest in the heritage of the Town of Westmoreland...(or should I say Hampton?) 

It occured to me (as things often do...) I have never read that sign.  How many times have I walk and driven past it.  How many times did I head down to the "Green" on Halloween to bomb people...yet never once looked at the sign.  Now..at this juncture, I wonder what it reads?

Next time Ellie and I are out for a little stroll, we'll have to check out the sign on the town green and see what we learn...I'll let ya know.
