My Wild Kingdom
There were kids all around me my age in Woodhaven, but they all had brothers and sisters to play with, so when there was a low in the neighborhood activities I had to make my own fun. In a sad attempt to entertain myself, I created my very own imaginary Wild Animal Kingdom. I had taken my love of animals and spun it around my boredom. I did not have an imaginary friend or pet, I had the whole darn Animal Kingdom. I was like Jane of the Base Housing. I had a special way that I would summon them and we would roam WoodHaven together in search of anyone in trouble needing our helping hand.
I still call on them once in a while when I’m bored.

On a sperate note, the other night my husband found reruns of Mutal Of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. I told him that when I was little and we had moved to Omaha, I was cartain that ALL of those awesome animals lived there somewhere...because that's where it was filmed....I didn't understand sponship at the time....or insurance.
