So last night I had yet another Alice in Wonderland moment.

I sat in the Lazy Boy recliner that my husband picked out before Ellie was born. 

It's big. 

I can not reach the ground.

It was three am, so I sat there in my underpants and a t-shirt holding my daughter as she drifted back to sleep. 
She's getting big now...she's so long that her arms and legs dangle like a worn out Stretch Armstrong doll when I hold her as she sleeps.

So, I sat there as my feet dangled from the enormous chair, cradling my long child and I felt weirdly dwarfed at that moment. 

I had a flash back to when Ellie was a new born and her four year old cousin Alana sat in that same chair and held the baby for the first time.  I felt like Alana in that picture.

....I guess I was more Alana in Wonderland then Alice....
