OK, the last couple of weeks have been tough. 

To start Ellie began cutting teeth again which just brought on misery.  From there she got a viral thing and once that cleared up she got a head cold...that is cleared up as well, but now I have invoked Tough Love!  Ellie's getting a bit spoiled, so we are trying rectify that situation as well as get her to sleep through the night without me coming in to rock her back to sleep.  The first night was Horrible....I was certain that I scared this poor kid for life and created all kinds of abandonment issues.  The next morning we tried again at 5am when she woke.  This time she actually cried herself back to sleep after about a half hour.  Last night though!  Last night she woke around midnight and talked herself back to sleep.....only a small bit of crying.  Yeah....we'll see how it goes from her.

In addition to that....Last Thursday I ended up taking my horse to Cornell to get his hoof rebuilt.  They found a small trauma spot as they were cutting it away and they think there must have been an abscess in there at some point.  That's where the bacteria got in and White Lime Disease spread from there eating away the laminent of his hoof causing his outer hoof wall to crumble away.  It was awful to watch.  They cut his entire left hoof off on the one side and glued a "Super shoe" on to what was left and filled in the rest with artificial material.  That was all quite a trip.  He seems alright now....so far.

Then Monday Rocky had to have a cyst removed from his lower lip....$400 bucks later, he came home a handsome man. 

All this in addition to some other family bullshit going on and stress of the J.O.B. 

Sometimes you just want to curl up and make it all go away.  Alexander had the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day....I am having a Month.
