OK....does everyone remember that first season of Newlyweds where we all learned that Jessica Simpson is a spoiled slob?  Most vividly I remember the part where Nick flips out because she leaves the bath towels on the floor.  She defends herself by saying that that's where she has always left them and her mom would always pick them up later.

I had this flash back last night (again) as I went around behind my husband to clean up the bathroom after Ellie's bath.  Hair dryer back where it belongs.  Hung the wash cloth properly to dry.  Closed the shampoo bottle.  Then I thought of Jessica as I picked up the baby's bath towel, which was once again left in a wad on the floor.

(heavy sigh)




And all this time I thought Homer was the Simpson I married.....
