V.P. Debate
OK... So I tuned into the Vice Presidential Debate last night. At first I was irritated because all they did was talk up their front runner and sling mud at the other guy....talk about your "He Said She Said." Back and forth and then back stepping to the previous question that they just NEED to rebut one more time....ug. Most of the time we forget what the current question even is.
But then it did have it's bright moments. Moments where they were not stroking anyones ego. Not endorsing their party hard core. Honest moments where they actually told me what 'they' are about.
I like Palin. For the same reasons as every one else. She is normal. She talks to us as if we are sitting at her kitchen table. By the time she was done, I wanted her for President...you can leave out McCain completely.
What I liked the most was that she quoted Reagan twice. The biggest one was the City on the Hill reference. That was always my favorite and because it stood out to her as well and the fact that she brought it back to our attention as to what America should ultimately be, made me happy.
I'm finally leaning in a direction...I'm not sold yet though.
Next up? I must read up on the candidates. I will visit their websites and see what they have to say for themselves. I'm not interested in what they have to say about the other guy...but what makes them my future leader.
Remember, voting is your right as an American and should not be taken lightly.
Do your research and pick a candidate.
VOTE!!!
