Leg Warmers and Bell Bottoms

So here's a just a cute little childhood, equestrian memory to share.

When we were kids, buy this I mean teenagers, my best friend Noelle (yes from life lesson #8) came to the stable with me a lot.  We had a lot of fun just hanging out down there in the cold.  Riding, laughing, singing, playing basket ball in the barn.

But Noelle had special names for things.

Bell Boots were Fox's Bell Bottoms, and his leg wraps were actually called Leg Warmers.

At one point she asked me why he stood in the cross ties and pawed the concrete floor the way he did...I told her he was counting.  She was amazed!  LOL  (That's our class of 92' saluditorian!!  LOL)

I'm kidding of course....Noelle had all the horse lingo under control, but it was a fun little joke and I still use that terminology today while dressing a horse!
