A Candy Corn Hibernation

I love Candy Corn.

There I said it.

So as I worked today, on this bag of Brachs Mellowcreme Pumpkins it occurred to me that this is really the fattest time of the year.  Think about it.  They load you up on Halloween Candy.  Even if your kids don't trick or treat, it's in your house.  And you know!!! You know you give out the crap stuff first and keep your favorite pieces for last, "just in case there's stuff left over."

Next up is Turkey day....what a fat fest that is.  Gorge yourself on actual food....then sit around and watch the Lions loose, as you slowly burp and fart your way into 'room for dessert!'  Good for you...you accomplished something today!  That's not even mentioning the days of leftovers to follow.  hhhmmm that turkey dressing though.

So what happens next?

Tis the season to be Jolly!  Eat up people, it's Christmas.  Pass the fifteenth plate of cookies to be brought in this week and help yourself.  We're careful to only take one or two so we don't look like pigs....but who are we kidding....deep down inside we know another basket will be coming around soon enough!

No wonder we all have to declare a diet resolution come January first....we just spent the last three month shoveling food in as fast as we could for our winter storage.

I refer to it as my winter coat.

It's October ladies and gentleman....prepare for the Candy Corn Hibernation to commence!
