Berkshire Update
So there's once again movement on Berkshire.
First of all I would start by announcing the death of one of our friendly little squirrels that was run down earlier this week. This was very sad to us all especially the other small creatures.
Fran across the street packed every thing in to a van and pulled away over the weekend...all's been quite over there since. So I sit here daily, patiently awaiting the new neighbors.
Last weekend I saw the other woman down the road packing every thing into her jeep...it was clearly moving day. I have not seen anyone move in, however there are two new vehicles in the driveway. I have yet to see the occupants though to size them up.
Next door they began construction last week. Poor Brett will most likely not get any sleep until December at this rate. Their addition is being built right next to our bedroom.
But down the road you ask? What about down on the water front? I don't know for sure. Some paving company's trucks were down there all morning and I saw the pickups leaving just a short while ago full of parts from houses . It could be that they are disassembling them before they get knocked down and pushed in the hole (I don't think house demolition quite goes like that, I just like to say it)
They don't have much time left though....they better get a move on....17 days until the "Green Space" deadline the town was given. Of course every thing runs a little slower in Westmoreland...that's why I like it here.
On a rare and still unexplainable note...FedEx went down the road this morning but didn't stop here....very bizarre.....
