The Laundry Never Ends

Here's what I don't get.

Now I know my parents are pretty anal retentive people.  And that's ok....it doesn't make them bad people...just, well...organized.  But how on earth does she get all her laundry done in one day?

This is a serious question I have....

My mom will get up on a Tuesday and say, "It's laundry day," and it will be!  She will get it separated, washed, dried, folded and put away wrinkle free in one afternoon.

This is a mystery to me.

Laundry is a never ending, on going cycle in this house.  There is never a period of, "There.  It's done."  It takes me an entire week to wash it, get it to the dryer.  And putting it away!?  Forget about it.  That's a once a week grand gesture.

I just don't know how she does that each week.

I'm laughing so hard there are tears in my eyes!! It makes a big difference if you only have 3 small loads to do. I just put one in the washer. When it's done, it goes in the dryer and another one goes in the washer. When the dryer stops, I fold it and put it away and put the next one in the dryer. And so on, until all 3 loads are done! It's very simple. Of course, one reason it's so easy is that my washer and dryer are right in the kitchen, 10 feet away! I don't have to try and remember if the thing is done or not because it's in the basement and I can't hear it. I'm also not working in my office. I'm working in the living room watching your daughter play and make me smile all day long!!! That's how I do it!!! Good luck in the future!!!
