So I did really love WKRP when I was a kid and I truely enjoy my one hour of it on Sunday nights now in reruns. 

Here's what I noticed though recently.  All the posters in the radio station!  At the time of it's original airing, I was way too young...I think I missed most of the adult humor, but what I really never understood was the band posters they always had hanging.  I know when I was little that I used to check them out, but I never recognized any of them, so I assumed they were made up bands and artists.  I was still listening to my mother's music at the time.  But now I watch and I see Foreigner hanging in the back ground hallway, Michael Jackson (before he made "Bad") in another.  The Pretenders, and Bonnie Raitt hanging in the DJ's booth!  It just cracks me up...they were famous then, but I didn't hear of them until much later.  

        ...who knew...
