As I reached into my car for something the other day I rammed my head into the top of the car dragging my hat right off my head as I was stopped abruptly and forced backwards...

        ....you guessed it...

                        Flashback!

So there we were...it was like 2002 or 2003 who can remember any more....but a group of us were flown to a summit in Schumberg, Illinois for work.  We spent one night in Chicago with plans to fly home directly from our full day summit.  Once our meetings were wrapped up we all changed into our travel clothes and headed for the limo.  Yes limo...we travel in style.  I of course got extremely car sick. 

Arriving at O'Hare we checked in and decided on Chilli's for dinner.  Two mudslides later and we were on the loose in the airport.  We window shopped, as well as joked around in between bouts of boredom....finally we were called for boarding.

I gently shoved my carry on bag into the overhead compartment of the small commuter jet and then walked directly....into it!  I went to sit down, but never leaned over to fit underneath the overhead storage facility!!  I hit that sucker so hard that I was sent backwards into the people sitting across the aisle from me. 


OMG....that was funny.
