The most amazing thing happened here last night.  We invited our sister -in-law and niece over for a pizza dinner and to let the girls exchange their gifts....


            ....but to what to my wondering eyes should appear?....


                        Mr. & Mr.s Clause!!!


We couldn't believe it!  Santa and his first lady at our house!!!

We eagerly welcomed them and gave Santa a seat in front of our Christmas Tree.  Both girls sat on his red vested lap as Santa Clause chatted with each of them, then they both received a gift that they appreciated very much, but it didn't stop there....  no....

Santa then asked them both to take a seat on the floor in front of him as he read from, T'was The Night Before Christmas.

It was wonderful...Alana sat attentively and listened to the entire story while Ellen sat with Mrs. Clause and turned the pages of her very own copy of the same story book. 

When Santa finally finished the story, he handed the book to Alana and we noticed that both books for the girls were signed by Santa Clause himself! 

Finally, and sadly I might add, they had to leave to visit the other children on the Berkshire. 

We waved good bye as Santa led us in a round of Jingle Bells.

It was just a wonderfully magical evening.

We love Santa and Mrs. Clause....they are such special people.
