Not much here and you?


It's been a while since I have given an update on the ole' Berkshire...and I know some of you check for info (Terry...haha)

Well, the nice lady, Fran, moved out sometime in November and we waited, and waited for our new neighbors who finally moved in the weekend before Christmas.  I haven't met them yet, however the husbands have chatted and Brett says he seems cool.  He mentioned bottling the water in his basement and selling it to pay his mortgage....Damn!  Why didn't I think of that first!  Poor people...right after they get here we had a thaw...it was before the current Arctic blast we are currently experiencing so the ground was not frozen yet....in came the water.  Brett said the new guy seemed un phased by this however.

So down the road....well, not much to say.  Trucks have been down there, I assume dissembling them.  They were on the roofs of a few.  There's a notice on the one's door of danger, to stay out.  They were digging for a few days...this I know because I tried to jump in the shower so that I could be clean when I brought my daughter for her 18 month check up, only to find us without water....that was a quick shower! 

Not much else going on though...I really thought they'd be in here with a big recking ball by now... I thought the new deadline was Jan. 09, but I could be wrong....plus they still have 16 more days...who knows.

National Grid's contractor came through a few weeks ago in bad weather and limbed our trees....that was messy, but necessary I guess. 

Other then that, nothing else is happening.

Oh, Ellie went next door to play with Nicky yesterday...that was a first.  I'm hoping we can take turns doing that more often.....let them tire each other out and give us some free time once in a while.  I got laundry folded and some random thinking of you cards in the mail....so that was awesome!  My favorite part though was holding Ellie's hand as we walked up their driveway and she waved to Nicky who waited patiently in the window...lol.  Too damn cute!
