Uh-oh...

I saw the town truck go by a while ago and now another just drove by with flashing lights.  I can't see what they are doing from here, but I will check it out when I go out on my lunch.

We have been watching the pumps carefully all weekend.  Brett had that wall all cleaned up and ready to paint with Drylock but now the water is pouring in to the basin so fast and the cements walls are damp to touch...so now he must wait...I hope we didn't miss our window.

I also noticed the new neighbor carting shop-vac pails full of water out to the ditch this morning...I wonder if they are sorry to own their new home yet?

I hope now that they filled in all those basements that the water doesn't get worse at this end.  I am NOT in the flood zone....I don't want to be relocated!  I hope that when they finish returning that end of the Berk to "green space" that they trench it out somehow to relieve those of us left.
