Can Tinker Help?
My husband has survived two separate layoffs at Revere.
...phew...
So now they have cut us to 4 day work weeks...but at least we still have a job is our thought process.
What was explained to me is not only do they not have a lot of orders, but they also are having trouble getting the scrap metal to melt down to make the copper and brass. Apparently it's all being sold to China. (harsher international trade laws might help Obama...Just a suggestion)
So all I keep thinking about is that episode of Little House on The Prairie where the kids bring all their toys to 'Tinker' to melt down and create a bell for the Church/school house.
So, do we have enough toys amongst us to help save Paul Revere's Company?
Unfortunately our precious metals as you have pointed out are being sold to China and what we are getting in return from China is plastic toys and toys painted in lead paint...hummm....I don't think those will help much! I am glad though to hear that you all have made it through the layoffs!

Write to Pres. Obama and tell him about all our metal going to China that is putting Revere Co. out of business because there isn't enough to make things with here in AMERICA.
