This past weekend I took my neice and two nephews to see Race To Witch Mountain.  Basically I was dying to see it and I needed a kid to go with me so I didn't look that pathetic.

I loved Escape to Witch Mountain when I was a little girl.  I wanted my name to be Tia.  I wanted to talk to animals....and the beautiful black horse!

This new one was a good movie...no doubt about it.

But here's what I loved and could not wait to tell the kids when it was over!  LOL  Not that they were that impressed with wht I knew.

It took me a minute but I realized in the dinner, that the sheriff and the waitress....are none other then Tony and Tia Malone!  That was great...especially when the girl in this movie, winks at the waitress before she runs off.

Later I loved how Gary Marshal (without giving it all away) decoys for the kids...then they all end up in his RV....just like in Escape!  They are in an RV headed towards Witch Mountain....only this time they have a junkyard dog rather than a cat.

Still it was a good movie, and it brought back good memories...I wish I could find Escape on TV so I could watch it agiain, I'm sure there are more similiarties....but it's been a few years since I last saw it.

Take your kid and go see it!
