If you have been reading along, you know that we have a non stop breeding of little red fish.  Sun Burst Mickeys.

The little ones have stopped appearing but a strange occurrence has now taken it's place.

We had a single black fish named Cooper...from Alice and Cooper.  Alice passed away some time ago...so I thought.  But when a baby black fish appeared it came to reason that Cooper may have died instead.  So this little one was growing nicely with his mama, Alice.

A few weeks ago, I noticed that the adult black fish had disappeared....no signs of her remains any where. 

The very next day the young one vanished as well.

There are NO signs of these two fish at all.

Now, the Mickeys die quiet regularly as they have a short life span.  I fish (no pun intended) them out often.  I can find their small bodies, but not Alice and the young one that I never named.

So we have decided that we had a fish mafia war take place in our 20 gallon tank. 

The Mick's Verses the...Italians?? 

The Micks won...for sure...


        ...except that Nigel the foot long algae eater I think can take them all.
