I took my little daughter to the stable yesterday where we pet horses, chased cats, pointed out poop, and played on the rock mountain.  After her last slide down the mountain of stone she stood up and darted off towards the lower barn.

Hair blowing in to her eyes she ran wildly with her arms, tilting her head down from the wind.  I saw her headed towards the Auger of the manure spreader and began to pick up my pace to stop her. 

Instead she veered slightly left and as I yelled, "Ellie Stop!" 

BOOM! 

She hit the manure spreader broad side!


OMG, I laughed...she was fine...just bounced off and looked around confused.

        My only regret is I am the only one who saw it.
