So my daughter has a dragon now that watches over her keeping her safe.

This morning, some where around Wilkes-Barre, PA she began to unravel in the backseat and I started asking her to describe her dragon we have named Riangard. (Adrian was our dog we lost this winter so it fits that she is keeping guard over us.)

According to Ellen, Riangard is Green with yellow spots and a purple belly. She also has large white wings, big teeth, a long tail and pretty red fingernails. She resides in a jungle living mostly in the trees but takes to a cave in bad weather. She eats leaves, as well as caterpillars and drinks milk from a stream.

Riangard sits in the clouds and watches over Ellie keeping her safe from...monsters. Where my two year old learned about monsters I just don't know, especially since the only ones shes familiar with would be Elmo and company.

Regardless, she believes in her and waved several times at the clouds today telling us she was up there watching. That could possibly be why we got home safely today. And at least now I can picture her clearly.
