I just recently discovered that I don't like it all that much.

When I was a girl, my mother told me that the Special Dark Chocolate bars were the best in the Hershey Miniature bag and were always worth fighting over.  So on the occasion that a bag of Miniatures was bought for the house I had to quick pull out all the Dark Chocolate ones and divide them up.

(Of course this instruction also came from the same person that told me pizza was 'yucky' and that I wouldn't like it...leading me down a difficult path of childhood parties and outings in an extremely Italian area that dictates every social occasion be accompanied by Pizza and/or Tomato pie. [ if you have no idea what tomato pie is, do not worry....you aren't missing anything]  )

I since then have discovered that where Dark Chocolate is actually good ( I mean it's chocolate right?) it's not actually something that I love.  I will take a regular Hershey bar any day of the week or a Krackle even over the Dark Chocolate option.

So there ya have it.  Today's lesson...Always try things later in life that you were led to believe in your youth were either fantastic or 'yucky' and decide for yourself.  After all, our parents are only there to guide us, it's up to us to make the final call on what it is that we like and what we do not.
