Brett and I have been struggling with the idea of a puppy.  I am against this idea, but when I hear Jr. cry in the evening from his loneliness I do consider it. 

Brett just wants to fill the void I think. 

So yesterday Kelley came for dinner and had her small lap dog Daisy with her.  Last time a dog that was not one of my parents came into this house Jr. tried to kill him.  So I was very worried about small Daisy.  It was decided however that if he was nice to her then we would talk more about a puppy, but if he were not then that would be the end of it.

Jr. was kept on a leash in the house most of the time they were here and only taken off when Daisy was in Kelley's lap.  He was genuinely interested in her, but very on top of her as well...and when she ran!  Well let's just say Jr. was in "hot pursuit" of Daisy Duke!  That was very scary.  There were two small almost attack moments...but it was all ok.  A lot of tension however.

In the end...Jr. will not handle a puppy well at all and now we can lay this ridiculous conversation to rest...finally.
