Not in Your Hand

Yesterday I stormed into the living room with authority telling my husband I was pissed!  He looked at me perplexed and I showed him my hand.  He of course, saw nothing.  I pointed to the yellow and orange streaks on my middle finger and palm.

"They melted in my hand," I told him!

My whole life I have heard the M&M candy tell us that they melt in your mouth, not in your hand.  I assumed this meant that the color would never come off on your hands.

They would never ever melt there for whatever reason!

I took them at their word.

So my husband rolled his eyes at me then called me out on being a ... well dip shit quite frankly.

"They melted on your hand because you didn't eat them fast enough you ass," he told me as I had left for the kitchen to wash the color off.

I stood at the sink and thought about this for a moment.

Is this what they meant?!?!  Is this decades of misinterpretation??!!!  Is this the water tower thing all over again?!?!  Can it be that all they really meant was that they won't melt in your hands because you can't not eat them fast enough??!!!

What the HecK?

How do I not even understand an M&M ad?

FOR THIRTY YEARS!!!

And once again, what's up with the blue ones...?  I will say it one more time...Chocolate Is NOT BLUE!!
