What's with all the plastic bags? 

A separate bag for each item??

WalMart??  Hanaford???


It makes me nuts.  We're all trying to be more green...trying to erase our carbon foot print! 

Then why must they use so many darn bags at check out?

I can understand you putting my meat in a separate bag then my other food.  (Sal-ma-nilia)  But why does everything else need to be separated out so much?  Most things you buy are in containers, boxes etc....some even wrapped in plastic!  I really don't see too much cross contamination going on there.  My tampons and my Ho-Ho's can share a bag!  After all, if it weren't for the Tampons then I wouldn't need the Ho-Ho's, right?!  They go together...everyone knows that!

And last night...why did my daughter's tiny new sneakers need a separate bag from my dog's toys?  Two separate bags!  One for dog toys and one for size 7 sneakers!  Such a waste!  Not to mention it's all just more to carry.

I think this needs to stop!

Someone needs to put an end to the madness!!!

These big stores need to become more earth conscience, that's all there is to it.
