Time to reexamine my life again (I do that every once in a while)

 

Recently I did some soul searching and decided that I needed to get back in the saddle.  I've been riding other people's horses (for fun, not for $$$) for about 2 years, and I decided that I need to get my own horse.  I need to get back into the show ring...I need to lose weight to get back into my breeches....I've gotten a little too big for my britches you see. 

 

So that's step one.

 

Step two...well that's a little more complicated.

 

When I was a kid, all I wanted was my own farm...and more importantly...a Chincoteague pony!  Last night as I watched our home videos from 1985 and the trip to Assateague Island I remembered the dream!

 

So now...I must achieve financial stability to the point that I can have my own small farm and get myself a pony from Pony Penning Day!

 

(this should not be that hard, right?!)
