I'm right this minute watching Betamax home videos of the Space Shuttle riding on the back of a 747 landing at Offutt AFB!  What an amazingly cool thing to have witnessed as a child! 

Now as I'm watching this, I'm wondering if it was the Challenger or another ship.  I know the Challenger explosion happened in Jan. 1986 as I watched on our classroom TV at Wake Robin Elementary...but I can't recall anyone making any conversation about it being the one that had refueled on our flight line.  I guess I'll have to ask Dad.
