Here are my early morning thoughts...

To start I took my daughter to Grandma's in my slippers. School starts for her in two weeks and I'm praying I don't do that! Please God, please don't make me the crazy, scatter brained mother that brings her kid to school in her slippers and bathrobe. My plan is Flip Flops and a baseball cap, but please don't let me become that lazy and embarrassing ...

Next on my mind is once again Utica Hair... Two days a week I drive my daughter to my mom's and without fail I see my old neighbor. She looks the same. EXACTLY the same. She has the identical hair do as she did all through high school (which means the 80's)  Pony Tail with a Scrunchie. Today...yes, pony tail and scrunchie. Sometimes I see her with just the front pulled back (like I do) and yes, a scrunchie. Other days, it's all gathered just below the nape of her neck... with the scrunchie! Where does she even find scrunchies in 2010!?!? How does a professional woman, interact daily in a public work place and have absolutely no fashion sense at all. Now I'm not a fashionista by any means, but how do you not notice how out dated your stone washed jeans and hair scrunchie are? Honestly, step into the new decade woman. (although if I could bring back the banana comb, you all know I would)

The fire hydrant down the Berkshire is still gushing/flushing... so thank god the rain has stopped (for now) or we would float away.

I need to change my work schedule today to accommodate Pre-K in a few weeks.

I have so much I really need to get done, that I think all day long that I would do more if I made a "to do" list...but I can't seem to find the time to make the list.

and Lastly... my left eye has been icky and runny for going on three weeks now and it's making me crazy. Last night when Ellie woke up looking for LaLee, I had to use my fingers to pry my left eye open. Call me Left Eye!

With all that said, life is still goooood.... although I'm grouchy ...
