Thank You Sir
Thank you To all who serve and Protect This great Nation - Service Men and Woman, as well as Their Families, past, present and future. Every day is a sacrifice ... Every one of you a Hero.
Special Shout out from me tonight to the 42nd and 416th Bombardment Wings. Love, Miss, Appreciate and Respect you all... (although, mostly miss you)
Love you Dad, Uncle Ron, Uncle Bob and Mr. Rudolph.
Miss you, Pop Pop, Grandpa, Uncle Dan, my Uncle Al.
It takes a special kind of person to put on a uniform and defend their country... to stand up for those who can not help themselves. You're sacrifice is honored on a day like today, but should be appreciated every single day of our lives that we take liberties with our freedom.
It also takes a courageous woman to remain on the home front and keep their family together in the soldiers absence. That's why the Military wife is the strongest person you'll ever meet. I love you mom, Aunt Hazel, Miss Judy, my Grandma's and I miss you Aunt Carolyn.
God did Bless the USA and those of us that are lucky enough to call it home.
We are a land of the Free, because of the Brave. We are a country founded by rebels, strengthen by collective determination and kept going by sheer belief and unity. We are a team that Rallies. We proved that on December seventh and again on September eleventh. We stand together. We stand for each other. We stand for those that can not stand for them selves.
And we can accomplish all of this, only because of the American Soldier that leads the way.

Most moving blog... from my Daughter who knows oh so well what it is to be a Military (dependent) Brat. As I am from the Vietnam era and a honored and proud American Veteran I would like to leave you all the following that you must read. God Bless America and All Our Defenders of Freedom in the United States Military!
There are teddy bears & high school rings
& old photographs that mamas bring
That daddies with their young boys, playing ball.
There's combat boots that he used to wear,
When he was sent over there.
There's 50,000 names carved in the wall
There's cigarettes, & there's cans of beer
& notes that say I miss you dear
& children who don't say anything at all.
There's purple hearts and packs of gum
fatherless daughters and fatherless sons
& there's 50,000 names carved in the wall
They come from all across this land
In pickup trucks and mini vans
Searching for a boy from long ago
They scan the wall and find his name
The teardrops fall like pouring rain
& silently they leave a gift and go
There's stars of David & rosary beads
& crucifixion figurines
& flowers of all colors large and small
There's a Boy Scout badge and a merit pin
Little American flags waving in the wind
& there's 50,000 names carved in the wall.
