Last night my daughter sat on my lap eating an apple before bedtime (because we have to eat like a horse at 8:30 before bed) I asked her what she was going to ask Santa for if she got to meet him!

 

She smiled and without too much hesitation, she said "Pembo."

 

"What?"

 

"Pembo the Penguin?"

 

"That's a real thing?" I asked.  "Will Santa know what that is?"

 

"Yes," she told me, "its a penguin that waddles, and has an egg inside it and a baby.  I saw it on the television on a commercial."

 

okkk.....  I grabbed my phone and looked this think up.  Low and behold, Amazon has Penbo Penguin.  It's an $80 voice activated ROBOT!!!  My kid wants a robot for Christmas!

 

I showed her the picture and she grinned from ear to ear, "that's it!"

 

Doesn't she want a My Little Pony or something.... ?
