Lots-o'-Huggin'
My husband had quite a time this morning trying to get our 3 year old in the truck.
I told Ellie earlier this week that on Friday after work, I would take her to Toys R Us and she could get her Lots-o'-Huggin' bear from Toy Story 3. She just thinks he's the best part of the movie, and I try to not pay too much attention to the fact that he's the bad guy in the 3rd installment.
She is very excited and mentioned it as soon as she woke up this morning!
I know that I did mention at least once, maybe even twice, that her Uncle Steve had given her a gift card for Toys R Us and that we would used that to buy Lots-O... so that was really Uncle Steve's gift to her. I didn't make a big deal about it, just mentioned it in passing.
... my kid doesn't miss a thing though ...
So back in the Ford this morning, Brett's trying to buckle her, and she is having no part of it. She wants to do it all by herself. Ellen's even going to the length of sticking her finger between the car seat buckle pieces so that he can't snap it.
Brett in an out rage (but never actually pays attention to what is happening in this house) says to her, "If you don't stop it then you wont get your Watso-Atso thing this afternoon."
To this Ellen corrected him, "Lots-O"
"What ever..." (cause that's Brett's response to every thing)
She then tells him that Mommy's bringing her. In other words that has nothing to do with you and not your concern!
"Well it's my money," he bites back!
All snotty and sure of her self she replies, "no it's not! Uncle Steve gave me a gift card for Christmas and we're using that to get him!"
S-NAP!!!
Brett Batson just got put in his place by a 3 year old!
I've said it before - this kids a hoot!
