Ellen Batson just made me so ridiculously proud, I actually teared up! 

She asked to look at my book about horse back riding. 

I told her, "sure, go right ahead, its all about learning to ride.  And what are you still learning to do when you ride?"

I held my breath......

"Posting," she replied.

I was overwhelmed with pride! 

I spend so much time yelling at her, chasing her, grabbing her out of the way... all she ever wants to do is gallop and bounce!   I never think she's listening, But she IS!!!

Then I heard her say, "and hold the reins, and put my feet in the stirrups..."

So I pushed my luck and asked, "and your heels go ...?"

"Down," she said with certainty!

YEAH!!!  She Gets it!!

Now as I typed... this very minute, she reading the big book on riding, patterns etc. and telling me all about brushing and riding...  

**Heavy sigh...**

This just made me day!
