4 Wheeler Accident
So following the Excitement of the 1st day of school, Ellen ran over to visit Nicky next door. She came back for her helmet and his dad put both kids on the 4 Wheeler.
I was not concerned. I went in and changed my clothes, came back out and stood in the drive way talking to my neighbor as Nicky slowly drove them around the house.
Next Nicky got off and Ellen slid forward. Her 4 wheeler only goes a few miles per hour so I never even gave this a thought. I even told the Dad that she drives hers pretty good and should be okay.
Ellie hit the throttle, and we heard Nicky yell, "Ellieeeeeee....." She turned it left and BOOM! crashed right into a tree! Both kids flew off as it flipped on to it's side.
We both ran to the kids that were thankfully alright. Nicky is just fine. Ellen has some mild bruising on her hip. The 4 wheeler bumper grill got bent... and the Tree is missing some bark!
Ellen apologized a million times and we just kept telling her it was okay, we were wrong to let her drive. I have no idea what I was thinking...
