Well I have blooged myself to death today so I'm going to give you the run down on the ESQHA Fall Horse show via FaceBook wall posts...  It goes like this.

Sept. 20th  

- Today's the big day! Packin', loadin' & hittin' the road!

- Get in the truck & its 2 for Tuesday w/ Def Leppard - its gonna be a good day! [How can it not be?!]

- I bitch about him somedays, but I do have the most amazing, considerate, gracious & most of all Patient husband in the world. I love u Bird !

- just had Macaroni & cheese " bacon pizza - I'm not sure how I feel about that?

- Spencer Schooled like a rock star. Tucked him in and made it home in time to put Ellie to bed Now at 9:30 pm - I've had some toast for dinner Up early and back to Syracuse for Under Saddles!

Sept. 21

- ‎laying in my camper in my underpants cause I 4got 2 pack shorts & its hot - ride in about 2 hours!

- ok, put pants back on & got food - bored @ the moment

- Note 2 self - bring more reading material to Syracuse horse shows [insert jeopardy theme song here]

- Spencer was excellent - very proud of him & I sat up straight so yay for me. No ribbons, but that's okay, our goal was to get him in the ring & we did much more then that so resting happily before midnight schooling over fences!

- oh my god that guy was so bo legged he spurred him self w/ every step he took

- 14 year old doing her homework, 4 year old doing a work book - I'm just waiting for Jumps 2 go up so we can ride!7.56 pm

- ‎5 more pleasure classes & 4 horsemanship - then @ least an hour to set fences ... Still waiting to ride #unlike  (9:22 pm)


Sept. 22

- still waiting - good news is the show just ended & they're dragging the ring ... About an hour to goooo... (12:31 am)

- time to ride! (I know you're all relieved)  (1:02 am)

- done w/ my "after school special" schooling session where I was repeatedly told to have faith & believe in my horse - that worked. Jumped beautifully! Ok up @ 6 must go now! (3:03 am)

- that's nice my jeans & my hair are still sweaty from last night ... Ewwwww

- BEAT & a lil bored but watching hunters so I'm good & chilled - trying to schedule a short nap but can't pull my self away

-Trying desperately not to embarrass the farm by laying down on the bleachers for a short cat nap ...

- for about 60 seconds today I was on top of the world...

Sept 23.

- Thank You WeatherWatch Performance Horses and Christina M Lewis for helping me out in a pinch today! It's nice knowing there are still good people in the world you can count on. I hope Spencer was a good boy (and trotted lol)

- Thank you to the Fairway Farms crew for your help with Spencer this weekend at the Fall Show - Elizabeth, Sarah, Julie, Tammy, Andrea, Sandy, Barb and Alicia. Hopefully this all gets figured out and I can get back to the show Soon! Luv you guys - there's no family like horse show family!

-Beause I don't have enough problems now there is a teenie tiny feild mouse under my couch... the dogs are battling over it (and may eat my couch to get to it) Cat is watching from a distance - good times

-Ryder had it in his mouth - then LET IT GO! under my stove now... cat is watching, mocking them... she's a funny Maybe Kitty

-Screw it ... Bridesmaids and Ben & Jerry's - Dogs'll take care of things

Sept. 24

- Home, home, home! Brett's finally able to go home & I can return to the horse show! Phew...

- listening to the one & only Sarah Sampson serenade us w/ her guitar - I did have the time of my life

Sept.25

- I think my body has adjusted to horse show time - I'm not tired @ ALL! (around 1am)

 - #@%$ overslept!

- wait - do you hear that? Its the jeopardy theme song playing ... Man all this waiting can be exhausting.

- Changed my plan in the middle of my insomnia last night, deciding 2 ride up & get my strides -told T who rode him that way in am. Still the plan in the chute. Messed up 1st fence of 1st line so I sat back & added in the line, my singles were all good but I needed 2 add in the other line & didn't half halt until stride # 4 of a 5 line oops. Survived though & proud of my bawls that got me in the ring & over the fences

- east bound & down  (around 8pm)

- has learned she hates driving the camper at night - specially thru Syracuse in traffic
